Galina Sokolovska

Costume Designer & Stylist

Galina Sokolovska is a Berlin-based Costume Designer and Stylist with over 25 years of experience across feature films, commercials, and music videos. She is a member of the European Film Academy and the founder of the Association of Costume Artists Ukraine.

Working between advertising and cinema, Galina combines the visual precision of commercial storytelling with the character-driven approach of costume design for film. Her work spans feature films, international advertising campaigns, and music videos produced across Europe and North America, always with a focus on creating believable and memorable characters through costume.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with internationally recognised artists, directors, and production companies, contributing to projects produced in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Poland, and Ukraine.

Before relocating to Berlin, Galina built an extensive career in Ukraine, working on international productions while helping establish professional networks for costume artists through the Association of Costume Artists Ukraine.

Fluent in English, German, Ukrainian, and Russian, she is available for international productions and continues to work across Europe as both Costume Designer and Stylist.
